The God War

Little is known now in the world’s past, especially that of Durador, and perhaps it is for the best. Though ruins of our people’s technology remain, the rein of man is infantile at best compared to the forming of the world. many harsh dictatorships and wars have led to the death of scholars and historians capable of chronicling fables like this one, and the scrolls and tomes on which they were written may have been lost or burned in the insuing battles responsible for the creation of these lands and the governments for which they are ruled.

"The God War" is a legend to present day, obscured by nature, but sworn by the people who tell it to be true. it is a Legend of the greatest and first Evil Deity ever to set foot on earth in the Lost Kingdom of this world, the events that transpired there are said to have decided the fate of man's existance on this world. And if those myths are indeed true, they happened only centuries ago

As legend tells it, following the creation myths of Heaven and earth, Hell existed as no more than a shadow realm existing beneath the earth. Hell had long been fought and quarelled over by many a dark essence willing to tame it, but through their never ending war, no clear king was ever a decided, no one true master ever descerned from it all. though small lords eventually came to power to preside over realms of punishment, none truly had any real power over other demons or forces except loyalty through fear of a higher power, and even that could be torn down. Eventually, billions of years of hatred swelling within the center of hell, The Abyss, let loose one. One demon, The Bane of the Gods, was released from the abyss to wreack havoc. Eventually, this Dark King clawed it’s way onto the earth and mankind suffered under it’s rule. Not all humanity was lost to the demon’s thirst for power, and some united for the sole purpose of defending their world against it. With the help of the gods, themselves, they fought the demon. From there, the manuscripts of this legend end without knowledge of the victor. We only have knowledge of the fight itself, not it’s ending.
